EXECUTIVE COACHING
Executive Coaching is utilised to improve personal performance at many levels: skills and strategies, personal belief systems and blocks to awareness and self-advancement, and contributing to team productivity.
The basic approach used in Executive Coaching follows a proven methodology, known as the GROW Model. It provides essential tools for creating motivation, removing blocks, and creating commitment to change. Apart from these proven fundamentals, Indira incorporates her specific training in advanced coaching techniques, Transformational coaching, collective group dynamics and psychology.
Executive Coaching is based on the knowledge that behavioural learning changes take at least 90 - 120 days to begin to become new entrenched behaviours. Thereafter, these new behaviours are reinforced through further coaching as required, and review of performance through effective communication based on real measures.
Some of the goals of Executive Coaching include:
• Implementation of the company vision and mission
• Developing a dynamic, self-directed workplace
• Supporting self-directed leadership
• Enhancing performance and results
• Change management
• Communication enhancement across departments - building a think tank capacity
• Building team spirit
• Going beyond overwhelm
Business coaching might also include:
• Communication
• Relating
• Goal achievement
• Financial success
• Life balance
1. FOLLOW-ON COACHING AND COMMUNICATION
Stay on track once you have completed a coaching program or workshop with follow-on coaching as needed. Make regular contact via email if desired.
2. Workshops and Seminars
What is missing right now in the corporate world is the hands-on personal work to create immediate and lasting change. It is great to hear motivational speakers to learn from their experiences and be inspired by their results. However, the feedback is that people leave these seminars enthused but unclear about how to adapt what they have heard to their individual situations. High-level managers often find this an obstacle in returning to their teams to implement new missions and objectives. They are motivated but unsure of the next step that will create the desired vision.
Our Conscious Leadership workshops have been created to meet this demand. The overlaying aim of the workshops is to know very clearly what next steps need to be taken. Commitment to the way forward is strong and action is ensured. A coaching approach is taken with each workshop by building the material and logical progression around the GROW Model. This is an extremely effective method.
Equally, conscious leadership requires greater self-awareness and emotional intelligence to perform at your personal best. As a leader you need to model the highest of principles and be congruent in the actions you take. Likewise, in your role you are looking to develop the same in your team members to get the best results possible.
To help you do this we provide workshops that are tailored specifically to the immediate needs you are facing in your own leadership abilities and in the level of capability of your team. Commonly, it is not the task skills that are lacking but the ability to look at the effectiveness and appropriateness of personal strategies and beliefs influencing results. Often it is their thinking that the individual needs to radically change.
Conscious Leadership provides a suite of workshops that focus on the person as leader so that they are empowered with new, more effective views of themselves, their roles and their goals. As a result their impact on those around them is positively enhanced and results improve.
We provide a written summary of the participants' feedback and recommendations to assist you in further leadership development.
3. FACILITATION
Facilitation provides a 'neutral' figure who takes a solution-finding approach in leading group discussions, drawing out issues needing attention, and assisting the way forward.
Strategies used reflect highly-regarded sales and coaching methods, and incorporate proven tools for producing sustained results.
Meetings, seminars and group think-tanks are all carefully planned and tailored to meet your specific, desired outcomes.
Seminars in coaching-related issues are also offered and again, are designed according to your specific goals for your staff.
Topics could include:
• Team building
• Peak performance
• Leadership and management
• Behavioural and cultural change
• Corporate communication
• Next-level goal achievement
4. TRAINING
The aim of training key personnel as coaches is to broaden the approach to creating responsiveness and interpersonal communication within the organisation, bringing improved staff performance and service provision. Coaching also provides a valuable means of dealing with change as new strategies are introduced and implemented within the company.
Coaching training can be cascaded through the business, from top-down or bottom-up, to develop a coaching culture and learning environment that is supported by everyone in the business. Key staff are identified to begin to train so that they can provide coaching as a performance enhancing tool to their departments.
Training can be used to develop motivational skills, attitudinal change and taking a results-focussed approach. It can also be applied to improving internal staff direction, sales and marketing performance, and presentation skills.
Leader As Coach training is available using the GROW model as the basis for coaching methodology and structure. Various coaching tools are included to help process various coachable situations.
